Bingoworld Moves Back To The Riviera, Features All-New Conference Format

LAS VEGAS (November 14, 2008) – Returning to its roots with an exciting all-new conference program and exhibition schedule, the 13th annual BingoWorld Conference & Expo will be held here at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, March 3-4, 2009. The world’s largest bingo conference and trade show expects to attract an international crowd with a number of new topics in the strongest bingo conference program ever assembled.

“We are thrilled to be back on the Las Vegas Strip at the completely renovated Riviera, as requested by many of our attendees the past two years,” said Charles Anderer, Group Publisher, Gaming, for BNP Media, the show’s producer. “We have streamlined the BingoWorld conference program while adding some new and unique features that are sure to help bingo halls of all kinds succeed in today’s challenging business environment.”

BingoWorld opens on March 3 with a full day of intensive conference sessions with something for everyone, including commercial, tribal and charitable bingo operators. The morning of March 3 also includes an all-new edition of Sellin’ Paper and Callin’ Balls, the customer service workshop presented by Raving Consulting’s Steve Browne. Previous editions of the workshop have drawn standing-room only crowds of enthusiastic bingo hall operators.

The conference schedule continues on March 4 with two concurrent programs. One is the popular Bingo University, a hands-on workshop focusing on marketing that has drawn rave reviews each of its first two years. The other is Bingo and the Internet, a new three-session program which will explore the popularity of bingo as both a money game and a free-play game on the Internet. The emphasis will be on how all bingo halls can benefit from this exposure, and it will include a detailed look at how they can maximize the marketing potential of their own Web sites.

BingoWorld also offers a large exhibit hall with dozens of exhibitors showing off the latest products and services for the bingo industry.

Hosting BingoWorld is the historic Riviera Hotel and Casino, which has undergone a multi-million dollar remodeling of rooms and convention facilities, bringing the property up to par with the mega-resorts populating the Las Vegas Strip. There are 2,100 refurbished oversized rooms with all the important amenities Las Vegas has to offer for both leisure and business travelers.

Industry vendors are excited about reaching the largest gathering of bingo executives and bingo buyers in the industry, and as a result exhibit space is selling out quickly.
