BingoWorld debuts in Mississippi with strong program, great speaker lineup

LAS VEGAS (April 8, 2009) – Anticipation is building for the 14th annual BingoWorld Conference & Expo, the world’s largest bingo show, which makes its Mississippi debut next month. Set for May 5-6 at the newly expanded Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi, BingoWorld offers an exciting new conference program featuring some of the most knowledgeable bingo experts in the gaming industry.

BingoWorld is sharing the stage with Southern Gaming Summit, the country’s largest commercial gaming trade show outside of Las Vegas. The two events are coming together to offer unprecedented value for everyone in the gaming industry, with two complete conference programs and a large combined exhibit hall.

“The move to Biloxi places BingoWorld in the heart of some of the most vibrant bingo markets in North America, and industry support for the event is very gratifying,” said Charles Anderer, Group Publisher, Gaming, for BNP Media, the show’s producer. “The joint BingoWorld/Southern Gaming Summit exhibit hall creates great opportunities for attendees and exhibitors alike, and the in-depth conference program and networking events combine to send everyone home with new ideas and new industry contacts.”

Some 30 experts will be on hand to share their knowledge throughout the BingoWorld conference program. Leading the way will be Steve Browne, President of Raving Service, whose three hour workshop Sellin’ Paper and Callin’ Balls is the conference opening act on Wednesday, May 5, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Browne is a gifted speaker with a motivational style, and his customer service workshop has become cult favorite that annually draws a packed house.

Although Browne is always a hard act to follow, the popular Bingo University is set for the afternoon of May 5, featuring three outstanding industry leaders focusing on specific areas of marketing and promotion. They are Toby O’Brien, Vice President Marketing & Client Services for Raving Consulting Company; Debra Hilgeman, a casino marketing consultant and expert in the area of seniors marketing; and perennial favorite Clyde Bock, Bingo Manager of Imperial Bingo Connection.

On Thursday, May 6, nine regular BingoWorld sessions will be divided into three tracks: Bingo Technology – Ready and Waiting to Help You; Bingo Programs and Promotions; and The Nuts and Bolts of Bingo. There is something for everyone, including information on the latest in gadgets and techniques, the scoop on the hottest new promotions, and ideas on how to get back to the basic principles of bingo hall operations that made bingo the most popular game in the world. Complete details on these sessions, including speakers, is available at www.bingoexpo.com.

BingoWorld attendees may also attend any of the Southern Gaming Summit conference sessions, with a wide range of topics applicable to everyone in the gaming industry. More than 70 speakers are confirmed for the Summit, and the complete program is available through the BingoWorld Web site.

The learning continues in the exhibit hall, where numerous vendors will be showcasing their latest products and services. These include industry-leading bingo companies such as American Games, Bingo Mundo, Bingo Novelty World, Bonanza Press, Capital Bingo, Clarence J. Venne, Fortunet, GameTech, Gaming Arts LLC, Hayes Specialties Corp., Littlefield Corporation, Multimedia Games, Planet Bingo, Santa Anita, Technology Exclusive, Universal Manufacturing Co., Video Gaming Technologies and Video King. They are just a few of the more than 100 exhibitors currently confirmed for the combined show, offering products and services for any type of gaming operator.

Attendees will also benefit from great networking opportunities including the Taste of the Casinos – Ignite Your Senses, an exciting new version of Southern Gaming Summit’s most anticipated event, open to both BingoWorld and Summit conference registrants. This year, it will include incredible entertainers, amazing costumes and unparalleled performances that will leave everyone breathless.
